The OpenSpaceQuartet is a freely improvising consortium and was founded in 2014 (stardate -309000) on the occasion of the successful reanimation of a Bechstein Grand Piano with the serial number 141111 (stardate -387000) in Zurich.

​The quartet is based on Harrison Owen’s Open Space method, which says that it is better to be silent if you have nothing to say (or was it Ludwig Wittgenstein?). Listen below!
